Great party game. If you've played any of the Jackbox games then you know what to expect. Understand, though, its best for local play with friends physically in the same room. Funny to see those chuckleheads either saying that the questions are too politically incorrect, or they're too tame? What is it guys? The first round is always normal questions, and every round it gets more awkward, not too hard guys?? Anyway, the game is polished and extremely fun to play. Well thought out dynamics and gameplay. KEEP IT AWKWARD\ud83d\udc4d\ud83d\udc4d\ud83d\udc4d. This game definitely lives up to it's title.
At first, the questions seem tame enough, but by the final round, you may find yourself in some very uncomfortable situations.
The game has a solo mode for playing alone, which sees you trying pick the answer that the rest of the world has gone with. It can be entertaining seeing how you line up with the majority, but the game really shines when playing with a group of people, either locally, or via the interactive Live Show mode. The group dynamic opens up a range of discussions you never thought you'd ever have (or wanted to have!), and adding your own twist on it with something like a drinking game is sure to spice up the Awkwardness even more!

First off, the game's title leaves you expecting something more along the lines of Cards Against Humanity, but does't really deliver on that level. Instead, there is a slow build to some mild levels of awkwardness, the worst being who you would save first from a sinking ship (your significant other or your mother) or if you;d ratrher have dinner with an ex or Hitler. However, this game is more about knowing yourself, the others playing, and in the case of solo mode the world around you as the topics get a little more personal by the third set of each round.

Now, I'll admit, I have not played this on-line yet, or even in local co-op, and have only played a total of seven games. This game apparently has 5000 questions so the surface hasn't even been scratched yet. But even as a single player experience, this game relies more on how interesting the end result is, conparing your confority level against the others who play the game and showing you just how good a person you are, or how many others feel like being total\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665as well. What you think is the most logical answer winds up not being your neighbor may do in the same situation, and in a psychological level it keeps you coming back for more to see how similar or different your mind and actions are to everyone else.

As it stands, this is definitey something I'd recomend picking up. There's also plenty of room for additional material down the line. I hope that the devs include an option for steam users to incorporate the workshop function to add more, crazier cards to the mix, or at least updates or DLC with new card bundles to keep the party going when the initial 5000 cards are eventually exhausted. Hopefully the devs do continue to support this game, and this isn't the end we'll hear about Awkward.. What would you rather give up soap or toothpaste? Riveting stuff.

Play Air Console. Free, fun and actually awkward.. This is a great party game! It really makes you want to chat about the answers with the other players, and some of the awkward questions got REALLY awkwards... would recommend!. A fun game with a wide variety of questions.
From finding out someone\u2019s favourite colour to debating politics this game will get you talking to each other.
