About This Game

As a native of Earth, you bravely volunteered for the Earth Defense Coalition due to the imminent war with Empress Anna's remote planet of Drumgore.

i am glad to have gotten this game for free because f**k paying any sort of money for this frame rate teriable i had to have it look like abstract art to run good and how the world suddenly turns into a forever night looking thing where it gose all black every time i use a melee weapon i look like i am jacking off don't get this game plz use you money on some thing better. Got this for free, these are my fps tests, game has a lot of potential!

Gongzhuang- 45-65 fps, fluzuated alot but mostly as 60.
Steamplant- 15-65, inside the plant it went down to 15, but outside it was mainly 30 but in someplaces went up to 65.
Strova-30-60 fps, spawn was 30 and everywhere else was around 45-60 fps.

Specs: Specs AMD A8-7650K, Geforce GTX 1060 6GB, 8gb ram

Edit: Thank you RetriButioN for reminding me to add specs.. I backed this game on Kickstarter. Played several months ago, and found it an empty world with occasional nice graphics of steampunk structures. Only found another player once--we shot at each other for five minutes or so, and then he/she quit and I did too, since weapon-related graphics were nothing special or interesting, and the map was so expansive that there wasn't much tension looking for the opponent...like playing hide and seek in the Grand Canyon.
Just tried it again (2/26) and the game has the same feel & problems, even with a somewhat different map. Got a "Unreal Engine stopped working" when I switched from "online" to "defend," and quit.
Devs: Realistically, people are going to be dropping into the game and spending a few minutes to see if it's anything interesting for them. If they need to hunt down instructions in terms of what to do, you will loose players. Spending the time now to make the first few minutes of the game even a crude tutorial will have a lot of payback. Hope you do that...or even have a screen full of print saying: "This is what this game is about, here's why it will be fun." I'm a backer so I will keep checking in every so often, but if I wasn't, that would have been my last effort with WOA.. You know what... it's not as bad as I thought it would be, being an early access. I will say it's incredibly hard and I, like a few others, would like to see some changes implemented. I've had a lot of bad experiences with early access games but it was on sale and I wanted to give it a go, and to be honest, it's not too bad as a game that's fairly new to the game world.

There's some bugs but it's on sale right now and it didn't cost and arm and a leg to buy, so i'm not mad at it. I hope they continue to do work on this game because it has promise, we'll just have to see if they develops into something, or is left with someone to be desired.. pros:

basebuilding, open world, steampunk weaponry, GFX, soundtrack, overall themes, trading cards

cons:

some areas of the open world need more optimisation, server issues at times, multiplayer bugs

I plan to keep testing out the survival mode.. This game has huge potential... I've also met the devs, it seems like they have some huge plans for the next few updates. Excited for it.
