I was really looking forward to this game. It just isn't for me. Maybe if it was 5$ but this game is so barren and lacking. It has a lot of potential, but came up so short. The cut scenes are short without dialogue, only text. The few levels have 5-10 bad guys each. The controls are very uncomfortable. The enemy NPCs have the eyes and ears of a hawk and the aim of a pro marksman. The only upside I found to it is the music.. The same problem with Miami Hotline, too small margin for errors. Nah, I will keep playing it but it's not worth it to waste your time on it.. I hate that i had to wait so many years for this to finally release but it was worth waiting. Hotline miami was just a place holder for this gem. It is like watching Hardboiled or any other Chow Yun Fat movie only you get to be the protagonist. 10/10 would recommend to any fan of John Woo movies or even if you have no idea who John Woo is.. Pros: - Epic Soundtrack - Epic Gunplay - Epic Environments Cons: - Weapons like the shotgun and assault rifle seems pretty useless. - Though the snippets of CGI cutscenes help set the mood, I can't help but feel that the story was really restricted by the budget. Hope this game sells well and we could get a sequel with a more flesh-out story.. That's really cool mix up of max payne (stranglehold actually), hotline miami and enter the gungeon (you can dodge over bullets, enemies too). Slowmo, nice particles of blood and sparks, music is pretty fitting.. Nice as in 'Steam Sale Nice' Upgrade system motivaites you to complete challenges to gain upgrade points Three simple tasks every level - Time Score - Don't use Bullet Time - Don't miss Which make no sense in a game about slow-mo bullet spam Shame. Saw a trailer for this yesterday and bought it as soon as I could. Played 4 levels of it so far and absolutely adore it. so fun.. It's like hotline maimi but a bit worse Pros: >Hotline miami > smooth gameplay > satisfying particle effects/graphics > slow motion (even though the game wants you not to use it on the challenges) > challenges > Upgrades (not needed but it makes life easier) Cons: > Soundtrack gets repetetive and aint enjoyable > 4 weapons, no melee just guns (didn't kille anyone but out of ammo? Well rip) > animation glitches while rollin > Bosses are bad > Slow motion kinda makes the game too easy (but i try to use it less) I hope the devs add a bit more soundtracks and more weapons.. No melee or gun toss when out of ammo Cutscenes are ugly, have no voice acting and the interogation cutscenses run at 3fps Clunky barely functional controls with considerable input delay Aiming is impossible, turn sensitivity to almost zero to make it somewhat playable AI is completely broken, arnt alerted by gunshots, can fire at you from far off screen and are automatically alerted to your presence based on distance Game looks no where near as nice or stylish as the trailers make it out to be, looks like a budget ps vita title
