Despite the slightly dated graphics, this is overall a really great game which I highly recommend to anyone who enjoys the SAO light novel or anime! Expect, at the absolute minimum, a 50-hour. mind-blowing gameplay experience. However, be prepared for around 100 hrs. of gameplay when you dive into this expansive game.

Note: While the game is worth it for its full price, for anybody who wants to save some money, you could always wait for a 50% discount that comes up about once every season. Otherwise, feel free to support the developers by purchasing this product for full price!. I'm a fans of SAO Anime. But not this game...

One word to summarize this game : "Boring..."

I lost all my passion to finish the game, so here is my unfinished review

Pros :
- It's SAO game with all the SAO Characters and resources

CONS :
- No real story or conflict. Just you trying to get to the top floor.
- Boooooooring and repetitive battle. You repeat the same chore again and again untill you reach the top floor.... Even the hollow area is not that interesting..... I am a sao fan, but this is just boring. You do the same thing over and over. And there is too much text.. Here's the thing : If you want just the pure enjoyment from this game, since there's no speed up mode or any max level thing like in older FF game, and there's really no guide anywhere to platinum this game,simply play at bare minimum.

Feel the combat, feel the old-school wizardry clone settings, feel the numbing dungeon crawl exploration. Just do the main Aincrad storyline till floor 100, finish the game and call it a day.

For the rest of the game, as in 200+ hours of grind : don't bother, relax and don't waste your precious time. Just look at the CG and completions and all the missables, on Youtube. At the very least you can relate 100% on what's going on, everyone's happy lol.

Put your energy \/ money on Lycoris instead, I'm sure it'll be an equally large game with tons of areas as well, cheers.. I'm a fans of SAO Anime. But not this game...

To play to this game is a must if you are a fan of SAO's saga. It's the first and another perspective of how SAO would be if Kirito and co, would have to finish the game in order to come back to de the real world and can log out of Aincrad.
There are a lot of dialogues but the game is like a graphic novel and all the voices are in Japanese so while you are playing is like you are watching the anime once more time.
The controls are very easy and and there are a lot of differents missions.
. Excellent game the story is awesome and you\u2019re kept on the of your seat the hole time
