Really like these kind of games. I really like the concept of this game, but this should have been like 1-2 hours max. The narrative is really good, it's a shame they make me play sudoku if I want to experience it.. No, it's not a game. It's transcript of one's online conversation and pack of primitive puzzles. Here is whole game: you are asked to "crack" access to some files. "crack" is solving a puzzle. You may read those files. They contain transcript of chats. That. Is. It. Full stop. Wanna hacking-like experience? Check Hacknet or TIS-100, but not this.. Great atmosphere. This game perfectly captures the thrill and oppressiveness of office worker. Plot is interesting. You get a lot of small stories razer one big. At some point I was thinking that I want to have girlfriend like Eliza. And puzzles give you some challenge if you want to complete them perfectly.. Okay as a puzzle game and okay as a story. As a puzzle game, it's an interesting style of puzzle that mostly works well, but a lot of the solutions are non-deterministic & have multiple solutions despite the game having tracking for perfect clears, which can lead to frustration. And the + mechanic introduced about halfway in also leads to some puzzles where the only real solution is trial and error (especially since those puzzles often are the ones with really large solution pools). Another irritation is the spinning connector mechanic, in that often I would click right on the tiny circle to spin the connectors and OOPS placed or removed a block instead, usually killing my perfect clear. Story-wise it's interesting enough though also a bit vague and not really that engaging, I was definitely playing for the puzzles more than the gameplay. Also, with how small the text gets on some levels the blur effect made it hard to read the numbers. I turned it off eventually. I'd say check it out if it's on sale, it's got a decent amount of content for the low price as-is but it's not as polished of a puzzle game as similar games like Hexcells. Just go play Hexcells instead, actually.. I like puzzle games, and I love games that center around hacking or otherwise exploring technology, so I saw a lot of promise with Sorry, James. Unfortunately, it fell flat for me. The story.exists, I guess. It's there, but I wasn't particularly engaged with it. A lackluster story might have been okay if the puzzles were interesting, but they turned out to be an annoying minesweeper-esque game that didn't hold my attention past the first few levels. If it goes on a good enough sale and it's really interesting to you, then nothing is particularly broken about the game, but I just didn't find it to be an enjoyable experience.. Wonderful game, the most difficult puzzles and this strange correspondence really liked me !I advise everyone who wants to play a challenging puzzle. extremely boring and repetetive puzzles that you have to slug through to get no payoff at all
