idk why everyone hates this DLC, but in my opinion it is a damn good. Includes one of the best armour suits in the game when you complete it and you also get to shoot communists.
What's not to love about it?. This DLC has received far too much negative criticism, so I figured I'd voice my thoughts.

This was the second DLC I bought for Fallout 3 (the first being Broken Steel) and I loved every minute of it. The combat is interesting enough (even with the Fallout gun mechanics) but the story and the look at the pre-war Fallout universe is pretty cool. Here are some pros and cons:

Pros
-Fun gameplay (note that this has FALLOUT gun mechanics, so don't expect it to be Call of Duty)
-Cool items at the end
-Cheap
-Gives insight into pre-war America and technology (if you care about that kind of thing)

Cons
-Linear
-Short
-Relatively easy. It introduces a few new missions that are prety good but also tideious at times. The reward is Power Armor and a Stelth suit and a few weapons that were already in the game. However all in all it is prety good in my opinion.. Short but fun, rewards are good as well.. This DLC has received far too much negative criticism, so I figured I'd voice my thoughts.

-Relatively easy. Operation: Anchorage is the first dlc released for Fallout 3.

The dlc takes place in, like the name suggests, Anchorage, Alaska. A very beautiful mountain landscape, which I personally really enjoyed.

There is not that much of a story to it, it feels mostly like a regular sidequest, with the only exception that it have it\u2019s own map. The player walks an almost straight line from point A to point B while fighting Chinese soldiers, to liberate Anchorage. However, it is still fun and really enjoyable.

The dlc\u2019s gameplay diverse a bit from main game\u2019s. You still shoot people like you do in the main game, but if you find yourself low on health or ammo, there will health and ammo dispenser, placed throughout the map, that refills your health and ammo.

The dlc also adds new weapons and armor, which you will be awarded upon completing it.

Overall, Operation: Anchorage is a fun and enjoyable dlc, that is worth the price tag.. Pretty Dank
