Escape Bloody Mary is short, but it's also priced pretty cheap. I have to give it credit for being the first escape game I've played in VR that looked like it had a budget, and didn't constantly leave me wondering if I was just logically stumped or if I was missing something important because of a fault lighting system. It isn't full of jump scares like most VR horror games, but still keeps things tense and constantly throws new entrances for Mary at you for you to deal in pretty interesting ways. The way it uses mirror effects is pretty creative, and the gameplay is pretty unique for the horror-escape-room genre in that instead of making you dread picking up every object in case a skeleton's going to pop out when you do, it encourages you to always move forward to try and stop Mary. If $3 is too much for a game you'll probably play once for 20 minutes tops then you might want to avoid it, but otherwise it's a pretty fun game for Halloween.. Game-breaking bug occurs when activating water via sink knobs. Steam that fills room becomes completely white-washed instead of transparent, so it is literally IMPOSSIBLE to see anything on screen. This prevents any advancement of a feature that is REQUIRED byt the game to occur. I've tried deleting and re-downloading the game, but the problem still exists. I have no other issues with other games. My system details:

It's a shame, theis game was a lot of fun and a blast at a recent party I held. Unfortunately, the fun ends when you realize you can't even beat it and have to resort to Youtube videos to figure out why yours is having issues.. Honestly, the game has a few rough edges and minor glitches, but it is actually a lot of fun. Probably best purchased on sale, because it is incredibly short, but it is creative and immersive, and scary without feeling cheap.. This was super fun. I was expecting it to be scarier, I don't typically do well with horror games in VR. But instead, it was just scary enough and really intense. I was trying to find the key and keep her out and the whole time I'm just like "\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665 \u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665 \u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665".

I never found the key, but I'm going to keep looking.

Pros:
-Awesome idea with the mirror.
-Short and really fun.

Cons:
-Might just be me, but I have some performance issues. I'm running a 1070, so I should be able to run this fine. Take that with a grain of salt, it could just be my system.
-The hands are really awkward.
-The physics need improvment.

A tl;dr before I head into a grey area where I try to hide spoilers but might give things away.
Great to show and scare people, it has some issues but VR-newbies probably wouldnt notice it (they become most apparant later in the game).

So, a bit less spoilery but still spoilery;

The game does have a lot of issues. You're like a midget in the room (I would have to reach at head level to interact with stuff on the sink, and I bet no one under 1,50m can actually reach the window).
There are also a lot of physics issues (having to grab a door multiple times to either open it or close it)(the chair becomes uninteractable after used)(the drawers can get stuck and buggy). Then there's the key half that really has some terrible issues (*spoiler*the second half just vanishes after it spawns and I have to rub the first half I have all over the place till it magically hatches onto the other part).

Then the last phase of the escape room is slightly tedious as you've been doing that puzzle already for the WHOLE game, only now you have to search for the objective all over the place while that broken chair can obscure your vision.

The flashlight is also pretty pointless. All in all a cool and terrifying escape room, but there are more props in the room than there are puzzles. Definitely enough entertainment value for the price though.. This was super fun. I was expecting it to be scarier, I don't typically do well with horror games in VR. First of all, let me say that this isn't a horror game per se. There are no jump scares here, you keep candles alight to stop Mary from getting to you. Towards the end you solve a few relatively easy puzzles.

It is definitely fun to complete once or twice, and a good short ex...
