DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!!! THE DEV TEAM HAVE FAILED AND ABANDONED IT!. Accessable mechanics, easy to use controls and deep tactical real time decisions. Any Myth-series veteran should feel right at home with this one. Take the tactical gameplay from Myth and add a few sparkles of customizable triggered and/or passive abilities to your squad and you get Deadhold. Myth being an all time favorite, I was crossing my fingers - hoping that they wouldn't go too much Dota on the gameplay, and they didn't. There is a layer of random item drops, and specializing your setup with abilities, but it just adds a little distinction to your units. Think of it as choosing a commander in Compay of Heroes and you get a similar impact here. The game is still all about out smarting your opponents with positioning and timing. This game has the potential to become a great thief of time in my already busy schedule. I do indeed recommend this game to anyone finding this gem on steam.. Devs have halted production and will discontinue servers in three months. Do not buy.. u2665u2665u2665u2665 you devs, you put this on sale at Xmas and then cancel the development after a bunch of people buy it. No way to refund this on steam. I played it for 30 minutes. It was a barely complete level.. game feels 100% faithful to myth. An amazing first night playing the game. There is definitely room to grow, but this is such a great start! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a new style of RTS. If there was one criticism, I would like to see more distinct and interesting units further along. Some of the designs/ voice work seem a bit generic.. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!!! THE DEV TEAM HAVE FAILED AND ABANDONED IT!
