Are You Prepared to Trust? - Teachings from This Moment Is Your Miracle

Somebody once wrote me, asking, “There are certainly a lot of teachers and students of A Course in Miracles available, but there must be a thing that you've hooked into, or caught onto? Something that triggered a transformation or even a major healing. So, what was it?”



“Trust,” I said.



Think about your life since it seems to be nowadays with regards to the story. Just how do we answer the question; “Who do I trust? Where do I do believe my safety lies? How will I be sustained? Who's my source?” So whenever we talk about the final stage of the awakening being pure trust, it's simply about disengaging and withdrawing our faith and trust in most of these made-up concepts, beliefs, and ideas in the world. It's a lot like creating a big house of cards, stacking using one card following the other. Then the good wind arrives and poof, it's just blown over. It can't even stand only a little gust of wind. It's so frail. It's so temporary. It's so transitory; It absolutely was this sense of placing trust in the Spirit and withdrawing trust in anything else; all those items that were identified and learned as worldly accomplishments. acim lesson 1 Why should we trust in those? Have they ever brought us lasting peace and happiness? Are they really trustworthy? It really comes down to the essence of who's my cousin? Is it Spirit or matter? Is it Spirit or form? Furthermore how many of us have tried trusting people? Has anybody tried any particular one?So you are asking the question, “If someone dies or seems to be dying of starvation, what does that say about their mind?” Where all this is heading would be to the awareness that everything is mental.

What this awakening can tell you is that everything is mental and that everything is a hallucination. That is a world of ideas and what we call manifest reality, isn't reality at all. There is no distinction between thought and form. Jesus has to create his whole workbook in A Course In Miracles on making the connection between thought and form. His lessons start off with, “Nothing I see means anything,” (W-1) and, “I have given everything I see all this is it's for me.” (W-2) Then, He works his way around number 4, “These thoughts do not mean anything&rdquo ;.Now, He's speaing frankly about thoughts. First He's speaing frankly about perception, then about our thoughts, then He comes home with lessons 5,6,7,8,9 ... perception, perception, perception, perception, perception ... and then number 10, “My thoughts do not mean anything.” You will see he's attempting to melt everything together and show the final veil or stage of awakening, which is trust.



The Holy Spirit uses time for you to teach us there's no such thing as time, to take us back compared to that timeless moment that's the gateway to eternity. He uses symbols to instruct us that they're all illusions and that they're all equally meaningless. That's exactly the way of operation of Holy Spirit. The Spirit has to work well with your head to loosen the attachments from the investment in all kinds of things. What type of things do you invest in, nowadays?
