About This Game

Once there was a wicked witch. And then one day she decided to get married, and not to someone, but to a handsome prince.
The only problem - all the princes were engaged. All of them were picked up by beautiful princesses. Back then a cunning plan germinated in her dark soul - to destroy a family happiness of all beauties, and to turn the princes into frogs unless and until some of them come to senses and want to become betrothed of the evil witch.
She lulled to eternal sleep one of the princesses along with her servants. That’s how the legend about Sleeping Beauty appeared.
The young Snow White was poisoned by enchanted apple, and beauty’s body rests in the deep caves in the custody of seven gnomes.
Witch cut beautiful long hair of Princess Rapunzel and imprisoned her in an inaccessible cave among waterfalls. And a lovely Miss World was imprisoned in Witch’s basement. Just in order to teach others not to do so.
You will have to set free the frog-princes from Witch’s captivity, to help them to get on to the beautiful brides to remove the witchcraft by kiss of love.

Imagine a very good and beautiful hidden-object game without an actual classical hidden-object scenes. And here you have it! Closest analog I can remember is Mortimer Beckett series and Hero of the Kingdom series in some way. So if you know these games you can tell how good Witch's Prank is. It's ~3 hours and delivers easy puzzles to have fun with, fairy tale story and awesome artstyle. The only annoying things I found is sometimes backtracking takes time (a cart in the mines for example) and frog's voices.
But as it's a cons for some people I must say the game is VERY easy.. Cute game, puzzles are relaxing but not challenging. Be aware the cutscenes are broken on the Mac version - this affects the "story", since you don't get to see the plot result of the puzzle work, but doesn't affect gameplay. Game is short, but a good pickup on sale for ~2 hours entertainment.. Cute little game. Colourful and funny. Pretty easy puzzles.
Its just neat to help the frogs to get to their princesses.
If you like an easygoing game with lots of smiles and chuckles, this is for you!. This game is as nice as I remember from the demo. Amazing graphics, challenging puzzles, and intuitive gameplay. Perhaps the only shame is that I'd never know whether the witch found her own true love's kiss to break her own spell. Haha!

I'd surely play this again at a later date, and I encourage people to try this one out.. Was surprisingly fun to play and stream =] the puzzles weren't hard and the storyline was fun and had it's funny moments! Was a great play through.. Short and cute casual adventure. Doesn't really have any hidden object scenes, it's more about solving puzzles. The story never really goes anywhere, but I guess it's not really an issue per se. The visuals are very pleasing and there's no upscaling or pixelation to speak of. The animations are also pretty well done. Overall, it seems to have higher production values than the average HOG. A couple hidden object scenes would have helped break the routine, actually, but it's still very much worth playing.

Strangely, the game made my fans spin very quickly, and was running at some 6000fps! Fortunately I just had to enable Vsync from the graphics card control panel to solve the problem for good.. Totally worth the 10 cents with the -90% coupon. Otherwise... I mean if you got money.. its a decent time killer.
