About This Game

Streamline combines traditional platforming with a fresh take on physics based survival. Your goal is simple; stay alive for as long as possible in a world literally falling apart.

Since Streamline 1.0, there are now two gamemodes, "Platform" and "Dash".

Build your own designs in the new "Builder" gamemode.

Platform is our survival gamemode, survive for as long as you can whist your platform is falling appart. Use your powers to retract the cubes to their original position.

Dash is our new gamemode where your objective is to capture the orbs and gain a score, also here the platform will fall apart. Use your powers to retract the cubes to their original position.

The game has been in the dark since we launched on Greenlight not because we stopped working, quite the contrary. The game has undergone major changes and concepts have been scrapped frequently until we felt satisfied. 7aa9394dea

It's basically a student project \/ experiment. A score-based evasion platformer. Blocks fall and knock the other blocks out from under your feet, and you have to relocate and move around and have a power that can reconstruct the broken blocks. If you've played the game "Don't Break the Ice" it's very similar in concept to that. You basically just run around and avoid falling off the platform. Despite its simplicity, the main song (only song??) that plays is a nice chiptuney track, and the graphics themselves look cool in a very simplistic way. I got the game uber cheap during a Steam sale, and would recommend waiting for the same if you're interested at all. It's very bare bones.. It's alright. Not good, not bad, but decent.

Pros:

- (limited) score system

- fairly easy to get the hang of
- multiple difficulties
- costs like $3

Cons:
- no real point
- no score board
- no rewards for staying alive longer
- builder controls remind me of an uncalibrated Nintendo DS
- too easy to stay alive once you do get the hang of it
- harder difficulties just means the platform breaks more often
- lags a lot
- dash mode doesn't seem to do anything?

The way it is now, I don't really feel comfortable recommending it. Even a simple goal system would make it more fun. But right now, its entertainment level is about on par with a timewaster iPhone game, even if the graphics are nicer.. Great concept but sadly this is nothing more than a prototype .. This game has potential, especially if some sort of speed run is implimented, or enemies or something that just mixes up the gameplay. By the way, it's super easy to get a high score, simply go on builder, place one block and start.. It's expensive for what it is.
I'm sure the game will improve, but for now it's not worth it.
Very limited.. A simple physics demo with an ear-grating soundtrack, nothing more. Pretty to look at for a few minutes, nothing more to it.
