Superslime Edition packs an extra 10 levels where you can play as Grandpa-san himself! It also includes a “Dynamic Colors” feature that alters the game’s color palette to a unique one for each world. Slime-san’s more colorful than ever!

Slime-san is the third major game developed by Fabraz. The two previous titles being Planet Diver and Cannon Crasha. Slime-san is a game that is fun down to its very core. A silly story, with an unlikely character and gameplay that is addictively fast. It offers hours of single player content yet is tailored for speed runners as well. The very core mechanics and level design lend themselves to be played competitively online. This game is a Super Meat Boy clone that adds a couple of mechanics to the play style. Unfortunately for me, i don't really like the new mechanics and it can be tricky playing with the keyboard. I think the art style is good and simplistic but maybe too much simplistic, kinda like drawn by a child. The levels are ok to play, not so much fun or challenging as SMB.

Overall, i think it lacks a lot of the charm of SMB.. Not the best graphics, but really fun and sometimes frustrating(also in a good way) to play.
Don't think I'm going to finish it, but I'll try speeding through at least half the stages.. Decent start for a game, but really needs some work. But there's a *lot* of glitches. The menu broke and hardlocked the game (twice), the bouncy flying creatures pushed me into a wall a few times, and the backgrounds you can choose are cut off by the inner overlay. I really didn't like the water physics, and the time limits felt too restrictive (both acid and trophy). Another small issue is the pacing; levels go from fast paced platforming action to waiting on a platform for 2 minutes. Also, the text is very hard to read.

Overall, it's not a bad game, but it's hard to avoid the glitches, and there are several flaws that still need to be worked out. I did really enjoy it, even if it does have several problems.. I don't know if I was somehow playing it wrong, but I don't have eight fingers on each hand. It's pretty much impossible to hit all the keys (let alone in order) to successfully play this game. For example, to "Dash Up" to grab onto a ledge you have to hold W, press space, press E, hold either A or D to grab the ledge, and press space again to jump up. Meanwhile, you're doing this under a time limit and if you die you have to restart the stage.. BEATEN! 12 hours

Elevator pitch - It's Super Meat Boy with a TON of personality and charm and an incredible amount of variety,

Pros:
- 5 worlds each with a boss
- So much variety. Seriously. As in the game adds a new gimmick every 4 or so levels.
- Different characters to unlock with unique play styles!

- Is pretty tough. Like really, really hard.

We've got incredibly exciting news! Slime-san will be receiving a level editor!

We teamed up with David Laskey, of Tumbleseed fame, to bring a fully featured, kick-ass level editor to Slime-san! You'll be able to create and share your levels around the world and with friends!



You'll be able to create a 4-room level using 75%ish of all the hazards/mechanics/objects/enemies/tiles from the game!

Set the acid timer and direction, pick your track and theme, come up with a name and description... The whole deal and it's fully gamepad compatible too!



And once you're done you can upload your level and share it online! Browse for popular or new entries, vote on them and share them directly via an ID!

Slime-san has launched and it’s been a phenomenal success! We’re ecstatic about everyone’s reactions and we’re so happy to know ya’ll are having a good slime… Erm, I mean time! A good time!

We’ve seen your bug reports on the forums and our trello and the promised hotfix is now up and running!

Patch Notes (1.0.2.1)
Bug Fixes
  • NG+ now properly resets to level one, no matter where your selection was before.
  • Boss cutscenes are now all skippable and do not retrigger level music.
  • Clown balls now don’t disappear when you reset the level after they died from stomach acid.
  • You can no longer spam jump to remain stuck in auto-shooting barrels.
  • Red Shadow’s text has been adjusted in Slumptown.
  • The game will no longer freeze during dashes if you have certain anti-virus software on.
  • Translation files have been adjusted to cover a wider range of text.
  • The wall near the support group in Slumptown is now more solid.
  • The morph arrows on the UI are now correctly positioned.
  • Fat-san’s price is now properly displaying 20 apples.
  • Trophy time is now set correctly for level 101.
  • Sound effects in the Splash Screen are now affected by the audio settings.
  • All achievements now unlock properly. Including trophy times for every world, grandpa-san, unlocking arcade games and more.
  • Arcade coins are now properly being tracked in Slumptown’s bank.
  • A fix has been made to address some of the isolated controller issues.
  • Mama Worm boss fight has had some bugs squashed.
  • Adjusting the death toggle now properly affects the reset for twitch chaos mode.
  • The speed running modes now show the right leaderboards based on settings.
  • The slime family now doesn’t always wear a hat in Slime Town.
  • Player 2 can now successfully use items in Krazy Karter.
  • (1.0.2.1) Resizers have been adjusted to avoid glitches.
  • (1.0.2.1) Dojo Tutorial now displays the correct camera button.
  • (1.0.2.1) You can no longer wall-jump on the sides of the Heart Boss room.
  • (1.0.2.1) 100% Apples completion Achievement no longer falsely rewarded.
  • (1.0.2.1) 100% World 5 completion and Final Achievement now unlock correctly.
  • (1.0.2.1) Completing a level with all apples also submits a regular leaderboard time now.

Adjustments
  • Several level design adjustments.

  • The apple in Slime Town is no longer reachable until you beat the game.

  • A German community translation has been added to the game.

So, what’s next? We’ll continue fixing any bugs that might pop up… But we’re also working on a content patch. So hang on tight for that!
