Pointless. Even more disgusting to look at than the Western tack.
It's referred to as tack for a reason.. Useless, ugly, no in-game benefits, not worth 1 cent.. Product clearly labeled as "Single-player" and "Multi-player".

0\/10. The floodgates were opened a long time ago on DLC with horse armor. We are far beyond that now. DLC is a normal thing, even cosmetic horse armor DLC.

My recommendation assumes this DLC was made *after* the completion of MGSV (I use the word completion lightly, as Konami rushed it to begin with and never finished the final mission). If you like the design, then I see no problem with buying it. I only have it because of the Definitive Edition bundle during the Black Friday sale. The Snake Eater suit is a personal favorite of mine and I figured it'd be nice to get Ground Zeroes and all of the DLC in one fell swoop.

It should be noted this cosmetic armor does D-Horse absolutely no good. Might as well be naked. If you need to use armor that protects your horse, then I recommend you just pass this up, since you aren't going to make use of it. Why they couldn't add some statistical benefit (faster gallop speed or something), I do not know.. Exactly as advertised, a silly suit for D-horse. 11\/10 IGN - "Konami is taking inspiration from all the right games, like Oblivion!"
