So far the game is quite good. The game has a twist on how you encounter hostile mobs which could lead to intense moments of panic. Strange noises can be heard all threw out the game which bring environments to life that leave the player with feelings of anxiety.

i just finished the game and im very impressed with what I saw! I cant wait for chapter 2 i give it 8.5 out of 10. Custom controls would be great and when hiding or ridding something the mouse becomes very sensitive and jitters around. Very good game though, go buy it. What a little gem this game is!!! Lazaretto has been one of the best horror games I've ever played. Yes, it's not very long, but maybe you don't want a game that takes forever, or costs a lot?

The first half of the game is pretty standard fare, and the second half is where this game turns into something very special... There is a good, quality feeling to the movement, interactions, rendering style and audio. Right from the very start, you can feel this is an above-average game.

There are definitely some scary things in this game... :D Some things more fresh & interesting than some monster chasing you around a hotel or abandoned space facility. The puzzles were pretty simple & straightforward; I don't think anyone will be frustrated with anything in this game too much.

I think you absolutely get your money's worth out of this game, and I totally recommend it. Really hope more parts of this game happen...

This game uses the same asset hospital as "Horror Hospital", a turkish game that i got laughed at for saying "ahhh, it's alright for the price" (in Turkish, no less). This is basically a walking simulator, with lots of sounds going on around you tha thave noeffect on your game play what soever. It took me 50 minutes or so to find something that might kill me, and i found the whole experience rather underwhelming.

walking for a long time is not gameplay, when will indie devs realise this? Hiding keys around the long walk in order to impede your journey doesn't make more fun. In fact, that's what this game lacks more than anything else...fun.

Sorry Devs...waste of money, unless you like walking in the dark a lot.
. I have to say this is probably the best horror game I have ever played (Except for Amnesia). I'm really looking forward to more from Blind Monkey. Keep'em coming!. i bought it in Steam Sales. I think it was a nice horror game but quite short, but some good scarys. When will the chapter 2 come? I am waiting for it. :). If you are looking for a horrific game that will have you filled with anxiety, then this is the game to get. I've only played for about an hour and I'm absolutely terrified to go upstairs in the hospital. You hear noises, and you see things... You know you're not alone... It is so suspensful walking through the maps with just enough light to see wondering if something is going to be around the corner. I am scared to keep playing, but I really want to see what happens next. It's such an internal struggle. The sounds and visual affects within this game are amazing and from a game developer, I really like how much thought and planning went into the code to make this game come together. I recommend purchasing this game. With a price as low as this, you really can't go wrong and be upset with buying a game like this! Don't hesitate, trust me, and do it! I have played a lot of "Mystery" game(s) developed by indie(s) over the years on and off steam and to be honest none of them were as carefully and thoughtfully crafted like this one.
Overall the game was extremely adjusted and without any bugs or glitches. The control, the camera, the movement, the User Interface. Also from a game dev's perspective, a lot of steam games are extremely tough on the graphic card and the CPU. This game was not at all, my computer at no point was overwhelmed or overheated.
More about the game I would say , the game is not something you simply download and walk through, it really does require a lot of thinking and trying to put pieces together, gathering clues etc...it is definitely a thinking game, and of course if you enjoy scary games, you should definitely check this one out, you are getting more than you’re dollars worth. These kinds of games usually go for 30+ dollars.
