About This Game

Contagion VR: Outbreak is a first-person shooter built from the ground up exclusively for VR. Fully immerse yourself in a world initially familiar to you, and witness it's transformation into something much darker as it rapidly changes right before your eyes.

Assume the role of one of our many characters and experience their stories first hand that would shape them in the mold of who they would eventually become. The end of the world as we know it is filled with horrors the likes of which were never fathomed, but in all the darkness lies a beacon of light, tales of heroism and sacrifices made so others could carry on. Explore highly detailed environments, search for scarce resources and see if you've got what it takes to survive a zombie apocalypse!

We've painstakingly developed every element from the ground up for HTC Vive, Oculus and Windows MR, Contagion VR: Outbreak drops you in the middle of the zombie apocalypse. Fight alone in our single player story driven mode and experience each characters past!

VR driven game-play mechanics: Perform physical actions true to life that immerse players deep inside the world of Contagion.
Single player campaign
Free Roam mode, where you can collect resources and craft new items while taking out zombies at your leisure!
Head down to the basement of the apartment in Free Roam to craft and test out weapons in the Firing Range.

was laggy a bit and not always ran when i wanted and needed to, but i think this was my slow pc and not the game. soon i will have an upgrade and we will see!

thank you!. great game fantastic design , some areas of level 2 need abit of work (like the constant streem of zombies when ya bro tries givin you the shotgun, needs to also be more ammo as theres not enough to last that part of the mission... otherwise fantastic game and looking forward to seeing the completed game :P. This game is TRASH!. Sticky controls. A lot of slippage (like gun won't take clip smoothly). A lot of times the hand gets "merged" with the gun and you're stuck looking at it until you re-holster the gun. It's got a LOT of glitches that need to be fixed before i call it even a "decent" game.. the game is great, awesome graphics and intense play.

Hey all! Still hard at work fixing all these lame old bugs!

I'd like to reinforce a few points.

This is Early Access, please expect bugs. If you do not like bugs, please do not purchase this game until Full Release.
The current demo was polished over a period of 6 months before its release. I have NOT updated the demo with all the new updates over these past few months. After all these game-breakers are fixed, I plan on updating the demo. The current build of the game (EA Release) is 6 months work of redoing A LOT of systems, which is why you are NOT seeing the level of polish as in the demo currently.
Please read the tooltips I have provided for you in the very first map you load into BEFORE starting your journey in the game. Eventually I will create some tutorial system + other UX things to help ease new players into the game.
I have just taken over the Save/Load system, and most likely will start from scratch. In this case there will DEFINITELY be a wipe in all save progress. I do humbly apologize for this ahead of time. Even then, your saves may get wiped during EA. This is NOT a bug. Please do not report it. It's not really intentional either, but it's just the way things are. I will try my best NOT to wipe progress, but in these early stage you should expect it.
If you have written a review (negative or positive) and at anytime during these patches (and eventually content updates), the issues you had are fixed, please consider updating your reviews. This is important so everyone understands the current state of the game, not the launch trainwreck that some (most?) experienced.
Please do NOT hesitate to write a review (negative or positive) and provide feedback through the reviews themselves, Steam Forums, Discord and/or my Twitch Stream. I am definitely listening and will bring anything up to the team and/or just implement it myself (Do it now, ask for forgiveness later should work right?).
BUG REPORTS belong in the Bug Subforum on Steam or outbreak-bugs on Discord, please do not write a post with bugs in it outside of these places (if you do, please just copy/paste that over to Bug Subforums since that is where we are getting the list from, to fix things).
If you cannot briefly describe the bugs you are experiencing properly in text, please consider posting screenshots and/or video playthrough of the issues you are experiencing.
