I used to play Ansto\u00df and the FIFA Manager, even though it is missing the humor from Ansto\u00df it is still nice to play, it would be nice if one can switch countries.

At least a season does not take forever like in the FIFA Manager where one has billions of options and a season can take forever.. The game had potential that's for sure. I love managing games but when its lagging so much that it takes two minutes to get my mouse from one side of the screen to the other it's just not possible to play. I love the concept and I wish it had been carried out properly instead of this half\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665version that we've got now. So no I don't recommend this game.. Because its only the German League! :(. Horrible Just Dont Buy It Just Save Up And Get Football Manerger. Don't buy. This game is horrible! If you want a football-simulator\/manager game - go for Football Manager-series.
The FM-series is the best out there.. I bought this for $2 in a sale. What an absolute steal! Seriously, it's worth full price.

This game is not like Football Manager. It is not attempting to be Football Manager. It's more like a business simulation whose central product is Football. Its name doesn't do it any favors - it makes it sound like a cheap FM knockoff and gives new players the wrong idea. It should be called Club Chairman or something of that nature.

You generally don't get attached to players - they're a commodity. Everything you do, you're thinking about the return on investment. Winning with a small or no profit is not as good (at least in the early phases of the game) as being mediocre and investing the money you save. You can't get fired... the only way to lose is bankruptcy (which can creep up on you if you're not careful.

My one knock is that the English isn't very good at times in this game, but it's easy enough to figure out what to do. Also you can only play as a German team. Do they actually have a championship there called the 'D-Cup'? hehehe

Anyway this is a light, very fun, sports oriented business sim. Nothing more, nothing less. If you like businessy or trade sims and like sports, this game is fantastic.. Excellent game able to complete seasons quickly after initial set up.. is not like what the ad shows and not worth buying. even if it was free I doubt id play it. poor game. Absolute waste of money. I am very disappointed.. worst game ive played total waste of time & money
