About This Game

Between the Stars is a space action game with RPG growth and real time combat that places you at the helm of an interstellar cruiser. Your mission will be to protect the civilized world from the Children of the Sun, a faction that dominates border planets in the known universe. In order to undertake your mission you must cross the galaxy, face new challenges at each warp jump, and make difficult decisions that affect your ship, crew and the world that surrounds you while upgrading your ship's equipment and fighting in battles to survive.

• Fight in intense space battles in real time.
  
• Use special abilities on your ship in the right moment to mark the difference on the battlefield.

• Unlock, upgrade, personalize and buy different playable ships and their systems in order to conquer the galaxy.

This Game Is what I always hoped a TRUE early access game should be the gameplay is solid (a mix between freelancer and the X series,) the story whilst mostly incomplete was very enjoyable.

My only want is for more ships and weapon types but whats here is enough

Finally the dice roll system for judging if you pass checks is pretty cool (you can't be ultra Swave Commander Shepard) well you can but it won't always work.

If you Like space sims give it a good shot its worth it in my mind.

10\/Orange Juice. It's a Sci-fi Capital ship RPG. Overall love the concept and the ship to ship combat is engaging and fun. The UI\/HUD could be a little sleeker, and some of the icons a little clearer, but overall it tells you what you need to know.

I'm really enjoying this, and if you liked Rebel Galaxy, Dreadnought, Fractured Space or any of those style games, you will probably really enjoy this.

4\/5 with the only deduction being a HUD streamline needed in my opinion. It's a decent space game, the voice acting is a bit off and doesn't really feel authentic, but they have already improved upon that area and might continue to do so. I haven't experienced any gamebreaking issues so far, go for it if you enjoy space games. If you prefer story over anything else, i don't think it'd be for you tho.. Finally a space RPG with Capital ships!

Graphics are great, sounds are good and gameplay is excellent! The ship models are absolutely amazing too!

Looking forward to pumping some hours into this.. Well I got to the end of the campaign that's thus far completed. I must say it was a really good story up til the point where the game hasn't been completed. The game is a lot of fun, however i will say I would like to see more ship choices and more stuff to buy in the beggining of the game. I found myself with a lot of credits and nothing to buy cuz I had everything I needed. For a game that's only being developed by 2 people this game is REALLY good for an early access game. Can't wait to see this game get more content and expand it's universe!.

P.S. I loved the end of the story Devs. Can't wait to see where the story goes!. Let me FINALLY tell you about Microsoft freelancer 2.0.

I have been waiting for this game for 15 years.

The potential for this game is huge, and I gobbled up the content so quickly. I just hope the 2 developers have literally nothing else to do in life but continue to make content for this game.

The majority of the existing content is dogfighting and following missions. Occasionally there is an opportunity for your crew to melee 'fight' via a bunch of dice rolls, and use items. There also exists a 'choose your own adventure' style, 'decisions matter' type of development for your main character. Both of these things are fun but feel a little disjointed.

The missions were fun. The random encounters were fun, but repetitive. I would argue more contract types and different combinations of random encounters would be great. I would highly suggest a mission where you have to GTFO across the galaxy while being chased by ships that can and will destroy you (IE getting chased out of Liberty space through Bretonia into Kusari while getting chased by battleships. FREELANCER I MISS YOU) Maybe additional space stations in neutral systems, where opposing factions are at war. The potential is there.

I cannot wait for the next update. Hell yes Isolated Games. Great work!. This game has great potential and they price is more than fair. I look forward to the progress of this game.
