When I was young my dad had a software sub. Apogee games would come to the house all the time and this was one of them. Lots of nostalgia and easy game play. The coolest thing about these is being able to have all the episodes at once. Back in the day they'd send episodes on different blue floppys. It was 1992, so thats how it was.. Remains a great fun educational game.. in this game we're saving the words but words are boring so theres not much fun to be had. as an adult this would not appeal to a lot of people. maybe to a kid it could. im too old to be able to enjoy anything like this.. It's a very fun MS-DOS Childhood game of mine for Kids & Adults alike to play. The Gruzzles hate reading and they're stealing the words out of ALL the books. Help Benny Bookworm take back all the stolen words and match them with their meanings so he may put them back in the books.

Both Word Rescue & Math Rescue are excellent choices for younger children... though us older kids will still find them entertaining. They are difficult to keep playing. There's an Alternate Version of this game called "..." (Argh! Those Stupid Gruzzles! How did they find my PC?! *A Few Moments Later...*) "Word Rescue Plus" on the Redword Games Homepage for about $30.
