La Tramontane - Ferienhaus direkt am Meer

Classic dramas tend to evoke emotion from even the most stalwart viewer. Movie trailer footage is available for these three new dramas that will tantalize your emotions for more.

Mud

Two young boys from Arkansas discover the perfect hide-out, that is, until a fugitive (Matthew McConaughey) hiding on the island discovers their fort and moves in. Ellis (Tye Sheridan) and Neckbone (Jacob Lofland) develop a friendship with the storyteller Mud and commit to helping him find his lover, Juniper (Reese Witherspoon). The oddly compatible threesome dodge bounty hunters and rescue a boat from an unlikely refuge to complete Mud's grand plan, all the while the Ellis learns more than he initially believed about the superstitious Mud. The move trailer alone will draw you in to McConaughey's dashing character and leave you wanting more.

At Any Price

Dennis Quaid plays Henry Whipple,

dramacool a conservative and competitive farmer who always imagined his sons would help him run the family farm. His middle son Dean (Zac Efron), seems the most likely candidate as his elder brother is away at college, but Dean is more interested in being a professional race car driver than helping out on the farm. Dean's loyalties are tested when his father's history of poor personal and business decisions eventually causes him to nearly lose the entire farm. The two men, more alike than they would care to admit, struggle to work together to save the family's livelihood. Quaid earns high praise for his performance in At Any Price. Heather Graham, Kim Dickens and Clancy Brown play supporting roles in this motion picture directed by Ramin Bahrani.

The Hunt

A painful divorce leads to a long road of healing for Lucas (Mads Mikkelsen), and ends in what feels like a new start to his rocky life. A new love in his life as well as a new job as a teacher for kindergarteners speeds the healing process, as does repairing the relationship with Marcus, his son. Just as life seems normal again, a student claims to have been molested by Lucas. Innocent of the accusation, Lucas pleads his case. The damage is done, however, and as news spreads that the kindergartner teacher is a child-molester, Lucas finds his life in danger as well as his hard-won happiness. Directed by Thomas Vinterberg, this subtitled film is well worth watching the movie trailer for, as well as visiting the theater. Aside from Mikkelsen, Annika Wedderkopp, Thomas Bo Larson, and Anne Louise Hassing also grace the casting list.
