A former Chicago cop moves to a small Florida town and joins the state police.
This is really a great high quality TV-show! If you like Magnum PI, Hawaii 5-o, The Mentalist and maybe Blue Bloods, this is something for You. Well - that is what I like, anyway.

The setting is Florida, a beach paradise as in Magnum and Hawaii 5- 0. There is a lot of nice views of both people and surroundings. It gives a feel good kind of atmosphere. Every episode has a murder, and clues and suspects are plenty, the mystery unfolds during the show. As in all the shows mentioned above there is a several interesting characters of different ages and backgrounds, whose lives we see change and evolve during the seasons.

On the very big downside of things is that the show ends to soon. It has only four (but very good) seasons. The ending in season four is also very annoying, an unresolved "could be" murder on one of the main characters. (This is a vague reference - no spoiler i hope...)

PLEASE - directed to one with TV-power out there - ONE MORE SEASON! I have learned to love these characters, and I want to see what happens! We are about to see Glades in Australia. Was excited until we seen the trailers for the show. What a shame you have put an Aussie Matt Passmore in your show (Glades) who is not speaking Australian, instead you have him put on a fake American accent that sounds just like Brendon Fraser. It would be much better to cast Australians as Australians and not force them to use a American accent. What a shame. Most of the American made shows do not relate to us in Australia. Especially the shows with misleading titles like, Big Brother which is a building here in Australia that contains a computer system that watches everyone. And the Big Band Theory, which is about the start of our universe not a bunch of nerds. My point is to cast Australians as Australians.........

The popular hit A&E Network drama television series "The Glades" Los Angeles casting director is accepting submissions from Los Angeles based male and female actors of all ages and types for Season 3. They are building their files of L.A. talent who are willing to work as "local hire" in the Miami or Ft. Lauderdale areas. This is for co-starring and guest starring roles. In addition to the speaking roles, the extras casting director in Miami is hiring numerous locals, all types from children to senior citizens, for general background performer work on the show. Shooting on Season 3 will take place through early July, 2012.
