About This Game

"The Experiment" is a multiplayer escape room puzzle game for virtual reality or desktop PC! It can be played competitively, co-op or solo.

Story

While visiting a well renowned doctor, you notice something is amiss at his office. Before you realize what's going on, he drugs you and you fall asleep. When you wake up, you are sitting on a chair in the back room, locked and unable to get out of the building. You can tell that the doctor is running some kind of experiment on animals and people and you are his next subject! Can you figure out what's going on and escape before it's too late?

Multiplayer

Gather up to 6 people and play as one team that tries to solve the puzzles or try the "Versus" mode, where each player is locked alone and tries to escape the room before the others do!

Virtual Reality

The game supports full roomscale/standing tracking with motion controllers on both the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift.
VR is not necessary, you can play with a Desktop using keyboard & mouse / gamepad.

10/10 would load screen again. Best not to play as normal pc version unless your used to it or prefer the vr feel on pc. and the puzzles were confusing and didnt make sense. was basicly guessing half the time till i found something that worked then went back to struggling. It’s the worst escape room I’ve ever played.
I played the desktop version and my friend the RV version. In the desktop version, the hint system is broken and gives a hint for other part of the game.
Also, the graphics are too dark and the objects disappear behind walls or the floor

Yo jugué la versión de escritorio y mi amigo la versión RV. En la versión de escritorio, el sistema de sugerencias están rotos y da una pista para otra parte del juego.
Además, los gráficos son demasiado oscuros y los objetos desaparecen detrás de las paredes o del suelo.
No es recomendable.
. Short review, since theres only one map so far, and i didn't get to experience the full potential of this game.
But i can say, It's great right now, and with more maps and puzzles, It can be a success!

The Experiment: Escape Room is a very interesting game where you figure out puzzles to progress.
The game is short right now, and i hope there will be additions coming soon, as it said when i finished it.

It has only one map, but very thinkering puzzles.
Also, you can easily bug items, but you can reset them easily.

it's worth to play with friends and great fun to figure out stuff together, especially since it has such a low price, it suits friends with even small pockets.. dont buy just dont. If you liked their other games go for it. It's easier, the puzzles... aren't really that clever. Only a few decent ones.

I like the idea of escape room games, but it seems like very few people are doing them. These guys are, so I'm supporting them. Overall it's a fun experience, but they need to work on their puzzles basically. And maybe improve their game making abilities tho they're better than they were in the first one.

What I don't get is why this is a separate game? They have three games that are all the exact same thing, just different rooms. They ought to combine them all into one big game and charge $20, then release quality content over time for free (or dlc.)

Anyway, it's ok. Definitely worth $3 or whatever they're charging.. I don't even know how to describe what I experienced here so far. I didn't finish the game yet, and I am pretty sure I won't. I really dislike that you can't change the gamma within the game.. i know everything should have like a horror feeling to it, but this game is less lighted than an ape's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.. I couldn't see most of the stuff that I would have to see to solve the puzzles. After looking at walkthrough's i finally found some things that were just sitting in the dark without me being able to see them at all. It's not fun to play a game like that.. to have the answer right in front of you, but as they made everything so dark you can't see it.. disappointing.
