But with crime and corruption spreading like wildfire, and those he cares about in the crosshairs of the menacing local gang The One Hundred, Black Lightning returns - to save not only his family, but also the soul of his community.
This show is excellent!!! Loving it!!! His relationship with his daughters, with Gambi, with the neighborhood he protects!!! Great show!!! Ignore the negativity!!
Not great but not terrible.The more I watch it though, the more I hate the layers the family has throughout the show. They're just hypocrites that think their own personal agendas are what everyone should follow but every family's somewhat dysfunctional.The albino villain in a nice change but his boss is a terrible actress. About the racism undertones people talk about, I get where they're coming from but it's not a Paul Mooney performance. It just highlights a few topics in black communities. Relax. Overall, it's okay but won't get awards worth mentioning.
