So. Sky Knights. Lets get this out of the way first: This game is absolutley wonderful. It's fast paced with an engaged developer, lots of longevity in how you set up your aircraft, an engaged and helpful community and a growing player base To give an organized list: PROS: Engaged community Engaged developer Fast paced Good balance between Realism and Arcade tho a bit on the arcadey side Longevity Frequent Updates Competitive and casual play (Not two seperate modes tho, it just depedns on who you play with) Cons: Small player base (Luckily it's growing) Severs can feel a bit empty when nnot around peak hours (if this happens pop over to the discord and ask if anyones up for a game. Or just host one and see who joins.) Overall: 10/10 would outrun Missiles with MiG21 again. Fun, casual and addictive game. This is a great pick up and play game with your friends, fast learning curve but with some tactical depth.. Fun and addictive! Great pace and the level and rank system gives you some real incentive to keep playing. The only problem I have is that 727 that just went up underneath us. it haunts me. Is it behind us? Should I just "tallyho" and let go? I don't know if I can.. Albeit my brief playtime in this Early access, top down "Top Gun" dogfighting game, i am in LOVE with this game. It fulfills a niche in the gaming market for those that have an ace combat itch, at a very affordable price - even more so when its on sale. The simplistic, yet addictive gameplay is as said in other reviews, easy to get into, hard to master. Resulting in a fulfilling, quite epic experience for an aviation junkie like myself. NOW that being said, there are drawbacks, whilst showing great promise, there needs to be an influx of additional content as one may find the game repetitive (up to the individual). More planes, maps and possibly an additonal game mode. the graphics are pretty decent, giving the game an "arcade' vibe.. Fun game, easy game play after a few hours, TOP GUN theme and an addictive plane game.. A very fun game that doesn't go for a (full) sim experience but actually gets flight dynamics / mechanics pretty spot on. I can tell from personal experience that the dev is very involved with the community (most likely due to the community being pretty small as of right now which is kind of a con to the game). All in all a fun game that's (pretty) balanced with an involved dev and that doesn't scream full sim / hardcore experience. For anybody having doubts about the game or anybody wanting to write a negative review of this game I want you to realize that this game still is in early acces and that Bankler is a sole dev behind this game as of right now, he's working very hard on improving the game and adding content to it, if you have any questions or suggestions he's open to them (he created a suggestions forum/thread on Steam) and for questions you can approach him on the game's discord server.. This game deserves some extra hype juice. Its fun, simple, cool and cheap. Easy 6 bucks.. Fun game, easy game play after a few hours, TOP GUN theme and an addictive plane game.
