This colour is fabulous! I have been searching for it for a few months and it was either sold out or just not available at the location. Goes on opaque with to coats, and works with short to medium length nails best. Not a true royal blue but more like a denim indigo blue which looks very interesting. I started wearing this colour for the first time this week and have had compliments : First coat is streaky but second coat will give you full opaque coat. Not the colour I'd expected, but came out interesting, so I would wear this again and again. I really do like OPI and thought I'd love this polish - I'm quite fair so I knew it would go well with my skin tone. However, the color isn't really what I expected. It's darker than the bottle, and certainly darker than royal blue, especially indoors. Indoors it looks almost navy blue to me, and my 2 coats weren't thick either. Outdoors, it's much better, but not quite royal blue either. It's more like an inky blue trying to mimic a royal blue. However, it is pretty close, but only when under sunlight. I like it, but I don't think it was worth the ten bucks. It is unique though, I'll give it that. I bought Dating A Royal for a long time and for some reason, it just sits there and I havne't give it a go. I feel bad that I've been ignoring it for so long. So, one day, I decided to take it out and wear it. It just so easy to apply and quick to dry. I only need 2 coats to get an opaque finish. It's a blue that it's so pretty and elegant but also at the same time can be funky as well. I wear it to my office and I have heaps of good comments from the girls. Not guys, since they hate any colors other than pink, purple, red and brown. Anyway, the formula is good and among all the bright collections from OPI, Dating A Royal is one of my favorites. I will definitely not ignoring it again and wear it more often. I was a little disappointed to find that it applies a bit darker than it appears in the bottle. However the overall finish and clor are still pretty great. It's great to wear to a Cubs game bc it's almost cubby blue.
