In a small rural town, a man struggles with his demons as well as the uncertainty of his future and the truth about his past. The rise of a new found thirst for justice leads him on a dangerous adventure dealing with a crazed cult involved in the production of crystal meth and an alternative to fuel/oil. When the cult free their veteran psychopath leader from a prison transport, all hell breaks loose. Gene then feels that the law needs all the help it can get in putting an end to the violence and that he has no choice but to intervene. Gene is then taken prisoner and is subjected to being a contestant in a gladiatorial/demolition derby type of arena event. Here, he teams up with a veteran to help him prepare and participate in the event. The assistance from a stranger and the old man may be his only chance of getting out of there alive.
