Did not expect to like this game as much as I do. I have put more hours on this little game than any other so far. If you like tower defense type games, this one is for you! Excellent work folks!!. Crashes non-stop. Need to launch steamvr BEFORE you hit play on Kittypocalypse or audio goes through the primary speakers instead of rift audio (even though the VR video plays through my headset). If I launch through the oculus dash, I get audio through the rift, but no video in VR (video works fine outside of VR). If I remember to launch steamvr first AND wait for a while to let that load so that the steam buttom "play in vr" is present instead of just "play" I get both video and audio, but the game crashes at random times throughout gameplay. Well no... throughout gameplay would imply that there is gameplay. The game consistently crashes at a random time between the main menu loading, and the first wave. I've also had the game crash in such a way that I had to reboot before my rift would show video again.

Context: Rig is a Windows 10 x64, Intel i5-4690, Nvidia 970 EVGA GTX, 32GB of DDR3. Skyrim VR works fine on max graphics without a hitch. Elite dangerous - system doesn't even break a sweat and runs flawlessly. Neither game requires launching of SteamVR first or any special ritual, they just play and both were purchased through steam as well. Kittypocalypse - so far a waste of money and time.. This is one of my first encounters of one of the worst tower defense games i have ever played. There are so many cons: The AI's aim is afwful, using the same setup in the same map and having different outcomes. but the game looks and plays great. just the mechanics NEED FIXING! i am rating it down at this moment because i am not enjoying it. hopefully in the near future it will become an amazing tower defence as it has the potential. or maybe im just bad, but how can you be bad at a tower defense game?. Very enjoyable tower defense game in VR. The graphics and sound effects are good and there is enough variety amoung towers, upgrades and placement to keep things interesting without being overly complex.

The AI of the towers are sometimes frustrating, especially when they let enemies pass while they are preoccupied with a target they are unable to lock onto. Sometimes the need to minimize this from happening limits the available strategies in a regrettable way.

Overall this game is easy to recommend.. This game is just good. Works well with rift touch controllers!. This game is Exactly what it should be. Really intuitive, comfortable and fun.

I have a couple ideas for minor quality of life tweaks:
Pointing at a tower shows it's range bubble.
Possible bug for me at the end of the mission I have to hit the menu button to leave rather than click the Text to leave, assumed it should be a button. (Odyssey+ WMR). Fun game, does not need a VR head set to play it run great with out one i wish they would re-word "Notice: Requires a virtual reality headset. See the VR Support section for more info." as it stops me buying alot of games that have that above the buy button. Change it to "can all so by used with a VR head set".. Just finished it. Took 10 hours. Kept coming back to play it. If you're a sucker for tower defence games on an ipad you will not be dissapointed. It is fabulously kitch and am looking forward to the follow up! Meanwhile I'll play again on hard.

I enjoy standing next to a turret watching the kittens get mowed down, or laying on the ground floating above the battlefield

An enjoyable game you can just sit back and watch for a bit before changing up your turrets

Turret types work well and get you to plan the best locations and upgrade paths to combat the range of kittens you will face. Changing them up on the fly or just enjoying your purrfected defence

I love the zoom features too. Lots of options to conform with what you find to be the most enjoyable and non-sickening.

Controls are very easy to use (VIVE)

A game I will happily go back to and play again. A reasonably standard tower defecnce game that happens to be in VR. There are a bunch of levels in a campaign that tells a story.
