A romantic comedy about an Indian stuntman who takes Hollywood by storm but cannot find true love.
After Hollywood stuntman, Lucky Doshi, gets married to Kamini Sandhu, his Punjab-born friend and fellow Universal Studio's colleague, Viraj Shergill, chastises him, while Kamini's man-hating surgeon friend, Simrita Rai, coaches her to not be intimate with him. Simrita and Viraj clash verbally several times but things change after he ruptures his intestine while filming a movie and is hospitalized. His life will undergo many changes after he finds out - much to his amazement - that Simrita loves him, without realizes that her feelings for him are temporarily motivated.
I was there in Bahrain yesterday to watch this movie. May it's because I watched a Hindi movie in a cinema hall after a long time. I don't care what all are saying about this movie. I loved it. Specially the first half was marvelous. You don't have to see what others are saying and then decide what to say about it. Akshay Kumar is really too much. May be the comedy was too crude. But it made me laugh, that is what matters. I agree the story wasn't streamlined. The money is worth it. It is a great comedy movie. The ending is a bit sentimental.Kareena Kapoor is getting better.Amrita Arora's looks are nice and new. Even though the performance is same as what she has been doing in other movies.
Kambakht ishq is a very charming love story about a stuntman that is akshay kumar and a model or a wanna be surgeon that is kareena.

The performance of akshay kumar is in this movie is awesome as he out shadows the other actors with his quick witted and sensible comedy and expressions.In the movie sometimes akshay kumar's acting and personality reminds me of Will Smith.

Kareena is also good as compared to her last movie. She has acted in her own way and reminds about her character in K3G , but having more energy and scope. She had done a good job in comedy scenes but lacks some emotions.

The third important character is of Javed Jaffery ...this time his performance is out of the world man . He had just made a perfect Character of a maniac ,inspite of less scope for him in the movie.

Bindu dara singh and aftab shivdasani are not up to the mark but yet O.K. Sometimes the movie misses its continuity but then attains the desired track. I must say a it is a must watch movie.
