From the Activity Monitor, you can quit the app consuming more than its fair share of resources. Highlight the app, Click the X button and then choose Quit or Force Quit.

No Internet Connection

Your Wi-Fi connection has no problem, but Mac shows no internet connection. The network error can fix by following some easy steps. On the Network page in System Preferences, click the Advanced button. The list of preferred network will appear. These are the Wi-Fi connection of your past that the Mac remembers for future use. Highlight your Wi-Fi network and then press "-" button and select Remove to forget it. After that click the Wi-Fi icon from the menu bar and reconnect the internet.
