The relevant experience for the nomination type is 24 months which can be gained through part-time or full-time. For part-time, the relevant experience must be 24 months and 12 months for full-time. 

 

Nomination Type 3 – Occupational Training for Capacity Building 

 

It is a workplace-based structural training program that has two variations. The structured workplace-based occupational training has the support of a government agency in Australia or the government of the nominee’s home country. The government agency can be at the national, state, or territory level. The structured workplace-based training needs a letter of support from the government agency to shortlist applicants for the 407 training visa. 

Another variation of the training is the professional development for applicants who are working in a managerial position for an overseas employer. The training program involves professional managerial training that imparts through face-to-face teaching. Evidence for the relevant qualification and employment details are necessary to provide to nominate under the nominee type 3.
