A time management, visual novel, fighting game. The concept is unique, artwork very cute and fitting the game style(s), and the execution is wonderful. I love that a developer took these chances to create something truly original, and it is well done on top of that. The game is fun to play, pure and simple. The pricing model alone is amazing, and I would love to see more devs take this approach. This game is a shining example of why indies are my personal favorites. Absolutely recommend this one for anyone who thinks they might like it. You have absolutely nothing to lose, and a lot of fun to gain.. I was really impressed with this game. The fighter game aspect makes for an interesting take on the VN/life management genre. Stat-building, etc. in these kinds of games can get pretty montonous sometimes, but I think the wrestling matches in Honey do a good job of breaking it up enough so it doesn't feel that way. The writing is engaging, well-developed, and funny. And of course the beautiful hand-drawn animation is the icing on the cake. You can tell a lot of love went into the development.. A pretty good free fighting game with female protagonist. I say yes, but I would recommend taking a breif look at a walkthrough first. This is entirely a spoiler review, and I would apologize for that, but I'm not going to. Just started the game, and restarted it to make sure I made the right moves. Both times I went out on a Sunday with my suit so I could train with the Coach, I get mugged, then get my posterior handed to me. Day wasted. It's the exact same two people who take my bag, as well. 1) After the first time, why wouldn't I carry the bag across my back to prevent this exact thing? 2) Why am I being punished for being a responsible student and using my one free day to train? Sure, I get it, I'm supposed to win the fight to get it to stop. How about you don't Darkest Dungeon me and let me get there before you place my buns in the fire? It seems like a great game, well animated, not over-sexualized female luchadores, or whatever the equivilent, I do not care. Fighting's a bit weird in scenes where there are more than one opponent, but that I cannot complain about that .. The game is in 4:3. And the speech text is sooo small. And somewhy it is in the little box in the corner. Visual novel where you can't see the text - an unplayable game. Even if it is kind of free.
