Except for the "Kaan & Able" quest, which glitched for me, I've really enjoyed this DLC. It has an atmosphere and gameplay that is sufficiently distinct from the main game that this actually feels like a very independent and different game from the original - not just more of the same. The game has much further travel distances, which is generally traversed using the new buggy, rather than parkouring through the city. That also means this is more of a "zombie-racing" game, instead of the original's "zombie-parkour" gameplay. Fortunately, driving the buggy is at least as much fun as parkouring through the city, so this element works really well. Add to that the beautiful atmosphere (the environment, sounds, music), and this is a really well-done and enjoyable DLC, which I definitely recommend. Regarding the buggy quest glitch: I watched some youtube play through videos and realized that my "Kaan & Able" quest had glitched because someone joined my game and then immediately left. When the person joined, the time to switched from day to night, and it remained night for the remainder of the quest. Playing the initial buggy quest at night was just a pain: First, I figured I could sneak up to the car, take down the guard closest to the car, get in and drive the buggy out. It worked, except the car would go anywhere, because it was left with no fuel in. After being shot by the 5 remaining guards, I go back, eliminate the guards, then go to find some fuel. But hey, it is still night and the clock didn't move at all, so I figured it was just one of those quests that had to be finished at night. So I sneak around, with volatiles everywhere, and the first 5-6 cars I check have no fuel. Finally find some fuel, go back to the buggy, fill it up, get in, only to still get the "low fuel" warning (at this point I had no idea how long I could drive on "low fuel"). Alright, we'll try anyway. I drive the buggy out, and is immediately swamped with volatiles from all sides. Trying to shake them off, while learning to drive the buggy and navigate at night. The buggy eventually runs out of fuel, and I'm killed by volatiles. Great. Now I have to sneak around to find fuel, still night, still volatiles everywhere. Then go to the buggy, which was left out on an open field with half a dozen volatiles walking around it, refuel the buggy, get in and drive, which immediately alerts the surrounding volatiles, who swarm the buggy. I was finally able to get the buggy back, but damn it was just frustratingly hard. But, again, after completing the level, I watched some youtube videos, and they all played the level during the day, which is obviously much easier. I don't know why my game glitched, switching from day to night, and then staying night (it took a really long time for me to complete the level, and it was night all the time). Fortunately, the rest of the DLC has been much easier, and far more enjoyable.. The absolute worst DLC I've ever played. If I wanted a decent crash-test or racing sim, I'd play Borderlands 2 Campaign of Carnage, or Forza. If I wanted something that locks the PC or crashes constantly, I'd go play something like Antehm on the PS4. If I wanted to do a full co-op playthrough and then get DROPPED at the finale because it's suddenly "singe-player only" to race to x spot before the enemies do, THEN HERE WE ARE PLAYING IT. Seriously, this is a buggy, awful DLC for a decent game. The cars control like utter shiite (even after the forced upgrades to your car are complete), the "additions" are as useful as tiits on a boar (flamethrower that doesn't do anything except look purty), the finale drops all co-op partners where-upon anyone who didn't drive to it, is now screwed (AKA, rode in the vehicle, something that they purposely added in), and did I mentioned the non-stop hordes? Zombie invasion can be turned off, and you can clear everything out around you as stealthy as a ninja, and yet it'll be 5 minutes of non-stop runners. The number of times where the game just says "zog whatever you're doing" is ludicrous. Forced climb up an area? No grapple hook, and you have to drop down, jump up, reposition, drop down again, and hope to not fall and/or die. Did you hit a bush? Cool, your vehicle hit a root, and went spiralling like a dog on ice. (and into the wave of 6+ runners that magically spawned) Did you dodge that pool of acid on the ground? Nahh, it's a proximity based AoE. Have 40 points of damage. Then you'll leave a section, drive a klick away, just to be told to go back and check on a person. The past 4-5 hours of play-time on this DLC has been a chore. None of it has been fun. The only fun time, was turning it off. If you're dead-set on buying this, wait till it's 75% off or more. If you're not sure, but liked the core-game, then stick with that. This is 4 steps backwards to add in two different endings on a game that should have had one to begin with.. Spookiest ending since PaRappa The Rapper. u30beu30f3u30d3u3068u30deu30c3u30c9u30deu30c3u30afu30b9 u3061u3087u3063u3068u3057u305fu63a2u7d22u306bu6700u9069u306au30b5u30a4u30bau306eu7d20u6575u306au30aau30fcu30d7u30f3u30efu30fcu30ebu30c9 u305fu304fu3055u3093u306eu65b0u3057u3044u6b66u5668u3068u30b2u30fcu30e0u30d7u30ecu30a4u6a5fu80fdu3092u5099u3048u305fu30d9u30fcu30b9u30b2u30fcu30e0u306eu7d9au7de8 u9593u9055u3044u306au304fu3053u308cu3092u58f2u308au51fau3059. This is a TERRIBLE expansion. The Buggy controls like garbage and makes traversing the world feel boring, the story is some how LESS interesting with even WORSE characters, and the ending(s) are both infuriating and insulting. I ended up feeling like I wasted both my time and money. What a shame.. Except for the "Kaan & Able" quest, which glitched for me, I've really enjoyed this DLC.
