This game needs a lot of polishing and it feels like a demo but it has got so much potential and it is one of the most fun VR experience I've had. Imagine 'Force Unleashed'.in VR.. This carefuly crafted masterpice of a game has the minimalism of games like superhot. Pure gameplay, no gimmicks, almost no option, it feels like the best alpha in the world. It's exactly as advertised, no cutcenes, no storyline, just quick tutorial and you are ready to go. This game is a workout, it's the closest thing to a crossover between a lab escape AKIRA style and metal gear revangance blade physics simulator, after Gorn, this is one of the best and most enjoyable combat physics right now.. Im left confused after playing this. its so good and bad at the same time. its the first vr game ive played that focused on super powers and made me feel it. i was very impressed by how natural it started to feel how my hands felt a bit of a tingle of false energy when id release a blast. the mechanics of this game are fantastic but the level design, enemies, pretty much all aesthetics are severly lacking. if this game said update 0.5 instead of 1.5 id be more comftorable in a heavier handed recommendation. but at the same time theyre still improving it and id take a vr game that showed me the immersion of game mechanics over pretty lights any day. im surprising myself when i say im not going to be refunding this.. Good fun, but not worth the price, Im still recommending this game although it does need a price change Update: I refunded it. This game is really, really fun. This game gives you the feeling you get from prototype and infamous but more beacuse it is in VR. Is the game a little expensive, yes, is it a little short, yes, but it gives you a unique experence only this game can give. This is currently the only VR game I know with super powers and it makes you fell unstopple and go "OMG" when you throw your first enemy across the room. It also has a decent amount of challenge to the game. It is also, in my opinion, a good starter VR game with it having teleporting and locomotion. This is a game I cant wait to see what they add or improve it is defently worth checking out and buying if you don't know about the price wait for it to drop in a sale but if you have the money defently pick it up and give it a try! 9/10 for me.. I am having terrible performance issues with this game, and I exceed the recommended requirements.. It's not that I dont recommend this game--it's just that I don't recommend this game right now. This game has a lot to offer, with its main selling point being the freedom with which you can slice objects and enemies. However, the fact of the matter is that right now, the combat just.isn't as clean as I would have hoped. Force isn't required to slice through objects, at least not much. A smooth verticle or horizontal motion can achieve the same effect as a rapid motion, and often to better results. I think this is a problem. It doesn't feel like there's any impact between my sword and the things I'm cutting through. I would equate the experience as similar to hitting air, much like combat in vanilla Skyrim. I discovered that as of right now, you can only slice through an enemy so many times--as opposed to a standard object like a desk, which can be sliced what seems to be infinite times--and that more often than not, I end up somehow knocking an enemy out swinging my arms willy-nilly without so much as making a single cut in them. Throwing objects is also kind of wonky, as is pulling objects to you, which I find is crucial for taking out white enemies. It's troublesome when I can't successfully pull a gun from the ground into my hand, locking the gun mid-air instead of equipping it. Often in battle, doing so accurately and swiftly is the difference between life and death, and the unreliablilty of your force-pull can get frustrating, especially in long wave-battles. You are also able to deflect bullets, but deflecting bullets is difficult enough without even trying to deflect them back into your enemies. I wish I could say I enjoyed all 25 levels of this game, but that simply isn't the case. Thus far, it's a 25-level demo of rinse-and-repeat combat that, admitedly.still needs further testing.. Tele. ing. Kinesis.
