This may not be as good as Crisis in the Kremlin, but it is still an excellent look at the political and economic situation in China in the 70's and 80's.
One thing I am enjoying is how this is the opposite of Crisis in the Kremlin, Russia was falling n 1985 but China is rising in '76.

If you enjoy history and simulation games give this a try, I am attempting to help users with questions as the interface is not perfect.. Very deep and satisfying, especially for the price! Very fleshed out content, noticed few bugs and they weren't game breaking, very polished for a new release, especially by an indie studio. Still trying to understand some mechanics, and would recommend you play Ostalgie first if you have not, it builds a lot on the base mechanics of that game, with better UI in many places. Game does not hold your hand and your first sessions you will lose. I think that is how games should go though. You can decide on the event that "nothing happen" so that nothing happen.

10/i accidentaly helped the moderates but later purged them anyway to help me to increase my power in the party.. Really fun political game, with a ton of things you can do. War with India? Become (or kill) Deng Xiaoping? Establish fully automated communism? Yes you can do all that and more! Would totally recommend if you are interested in politics.. I have been looking forward to this!
