A priceless diamond is up for grabs. An amazing heist has taken place. The payment is made. The buyer is waiting. Then things go horribly wrong. Marked notes lead to a trail of cold blooded murder and ruthless double cross. As treachery rears its ugly head. The game turns vicious. First everybody was fighting for the diamond. Now they're fighting for something even more precious - their lives. The rules of the game are clear - the winner will take it all. The loser will lose it. Even his life. Nobody's to blame but everyone will play the price.
Circa 1836 in British India a poor man finds a 200 carat diamond in the Deccan, and presents it to his King, who in turn, presents it to the British Viceroy, who has it dispatched to England via a ship that sinks during a storm. This diamond then surfaces during 1994 in Belgium, is taken apart and split into three. Two of these pieces are stolen, while the third remains in the custody of a wealthy Gujarati male who lives in Cape Town. After his passing, his son inherits the diamond, and notifies Shania, the Security Officer of the Indian High Commission of it's presence. Her boyfriend, Karan, overhears this conversation and hires three burglars - Dhananjay, Lucky and Pooja, to steal it. Two more international thieves, Angad and Aditi also get involved, and Shania decides to entrap them with marked currency. She is not aware that soon this action will set off a chain of uncontrollable events that will change everyone's lives forever.
Honestly, most people find this movie trashy and hard to understand. That's what i thought when I first watched it. But the second time around, I began to realise the subtleties. The music by Vishal and Shekhar absolutely kicks butt, and the fast-paced storyline keeps the audience constantly engaged. the story arcs are wonderfully scripted and directed, while the character development is light, yet leaves an impact. The humour is outstanding, and some the scenes, such as the boatmanagers description of Ajay Devgn, and the engine-starting-fiasco, are all hilarious. Kudos to Anubhav Sinha for producing a movie that leaves the audience questioning what happens next in the movie at each scene.
DUS was an awful film but CASH makes it a classic

The film was supposedly incomplete too and hence Ajay fought with Anubhav Sinha

The film is awful and mixing animation makes it all the more amateurish The plot is done to death and the execution is nothing commendable In fact you may fall to sleep in 5 minutes The film starts off with an item song in DUS BAHANE style, Ajay Devgan looks weird in it The film moves in the most unappealing fashion and adding Ayesha Takia adds to the boredom

Anubhav Sinha does a bad job Music is okay

SFX is okay

Ajay Devgan sleepwalks and looks bored, Suneil is as usual Zayed is okay, Ritiesh is decent Shamita is good Dia is okay Esha is a waste
