This game is nowhere near ready to be enjoyable. The game is bascially in Pre-Alpha. I don't know whose idea it was to grind out sheep for hours just to level up several skills. The grind in this game, is off the chain. The amount of XP needed to level in just the very early levels in insane. Not to mention the spam amount of sheep noises is overly obnoxious. Had to turn my sound off. The class balance in this game is completely off. Melee is like 3x more damage than magic/range which makes magic and range completely useless. Why release an MMO game, when quests are not ready yet? I mean, there is nothing else to do in the game besides basic skill grinding. I must admit though, if you like sheep, this game is def worth it.. Buggy, laggy, barebones - not worth your time.. Finally geared up and ready to leave the starting zone.. Started out naked, There's nothing to guide you so you run around punching sheep till you can afford a sword. Feels like runescape/old school wow. but still missing a lot of basic functionality. Servers seem pretty dead the 3 times I've played. never seen another player or a chat message. Has potential, but released to early, even for early access.. game is fun but the community is just complete toxic as all hell everytime you lgo in all you see it toxic people in chat fighting eachother same for discord i would of said play this game but the community here is just holding that back maybe if they get some of the toxic players out of the game it can get better


Arcfall Update and Changes : With the next update coming to Steam on the 6 April, we have decided to make Arcfall Free to Play. Because it already has an item store, it will not change any of the core design but will allow more players to enjoy the game. For those early supporters who bought Arcfall through Steam up and till the 6 April, we want to thank you for your early support of the game by giving you 400 Arcfall coins to use in the item store. This has a real money value of around $30. With this update we also have added more coin and items to the Founder packs to say Thank You to the founders. For those interested in getting a founders Pack you can visit our website store for more information: www.arcfall.com This update will have the map expanding with 3 new Bioms to explore and 3 new dungeons. We have added all the resources you can learn in the skill tree to the world with tons more items to be crafted. An experience system has been added to allow us to present lore through quests to the players in a more fluent way. Experience levels will only influence a characters health and mana, but all other stats are still linked directly to your skills. This makes Arcfall a combination of both Skill-based system and a XP leveling system, bring the best of both worlds together. Players will also be able to gauge enemy mobs before they attack them by the mobs XP level. This will be our biggest update until now and we are very excited to share this with you. With the free to play system being introduced, you will be able to invite all your friends to join the adventure. Some small futures which were requested, like additional bags and more bag space, are also added to this update. There is so much more stuff we have added, too many things to list here, so be sure to get the game free on Steam on the 6 April.. New Archery Skill Tree : Our next post is covering the new Archery Skill Tree. With Archery we wanted to bring in a balance between movement effects and damage. Combining both the Slow Shot ability which slows a target down with the Swift Feet ability which increases your movement speed a archer will become a formidable opponent. With this there is two damage ability's. One called Bullseye does some major damage but has a short casting time so be sure you use it at the right time. In all abilities where it states base damage, that's the starting amount of damage used in the combat calculation. From there it will determine the targets resist and also add some other stats including your skill level to determine the final amount of damage dealt to a target. The next Skill we will be covering is Magery which will be the final skill for combat changes coming in the next major update.. Release Pre-Alpha V1.2 : This is just a small patch to test our fixes we implemented to try and fix the frame rate spikes you got when playing. We have reduced them to very small ones now and then and wanted to get this patch out to do further testing with it. We hope it improves game play and performance.. 10/11/2018 Pre-Alpha Version 2.2 : Fixes: Pickaxe Type was set to Hammer instead of Pickaxe, Fixed now so will be able to mine minerals with Pickaxe. Rabin Mobs are now targetable, was not before. Fixed Tin Resource nodes to give 22 xp instead of 1 xp when harvesting. Fixed Minimap Plus and minus buttons so it works the right direction. Fixed In-Game Store so interface scales with screen size. Server Down For Alpha Update : The server will be down from now till 21 December so that we can do the massive update to it for our next phase in Arcfall, taking the game from Pre-Alpha to Alpha. This will be a massive update and no more character wipes is expected after this update. We look forward to see you in game on Friday 21 December. Release Alpha V1.6 : This is our first official Free to Play Update list, more updates to come soon. **Bugs Fixed:** - Fixed group mana, you will now see updates on other group members mana levels. (Requires more testing) - Optimized Player Character system so will have less Lag Spikes. **New:** - Arcfall went Free To Play - Added in Experience and character levels. Now you will be able to see what a mob or player experience level is. This will also determine what quests you can get as well as increase health and Mana slightly with each level.Max xp level is 100. - Added all the resource node types. - Added 2 New Bioms - Added 4 New Mob Types. - 2 New Dungeons are opened to allow testing of Dungeons. - Completely new In-Game store added with options to purchase founders bundles through Steam. - New furniture items added. - Added 5 New quests for lower Character level. **Balancing:** - Changed Player Default Bag size from 16 slots to 24 slots. - Increased Bank space from 16 slots to 56 slots. - Spread current Quests over more character levels to better reflect the stage when to receive said quest. - Mobs combat and health increased to better reflect the mobs level.. Pre-Alpha 2.45 : Thanks you for testing our next version, we could not get everything in which we planned to get into this release so am keeping it at pre-alpha. We will be doing another release on the 28 December where we hope to move out of pre-alpha. With this release there will no longer be any character wipes so you can play and level your character as we have systems in place to modify items on the fly. We have added around 150 new crafting items, a auction house, Ship travelling tickets between island for fast travel, new crafting stations and balanced all weapons and crafting xp for easier gain. There is also a improved crafting system allowing crafting multiple items at once.. Arcfall Patch Pre-Alpha v0.8 : This is Pre-Alpha V0.8 . In this version we wanted to fix a bunch of bugs so content increase is very limited. We where planing to implement the first Bosses but unfortunately ran into a major bug with it just before we where going to do this update so they will be in next update in two weeks. Bugs Fixed: - Chat box scrolls to the bottom now when a new message is received. - Tab targeting will now only target enemies, you use the click on portrait to select group members. - All other places where rich text can be used is removed. - When deleting a claim and you press cancel it wont still be delete the claim anymore. - When you click the pickup button on a house it will as conformation now if you still want to pick it up. - Placing a item in your claim and mousing over bag to select another item wont place the first item down but switch it. - Certain Mobs use to run stop in animation when they run to you, that is fixed now so they run smoother. - Item Requirements added to tooltips. - Tax deeds will now add the correct amount of time when added to a plot. - You will now only be allowed to add one tax deed at a time and have to wait till that deeds time has run out before you can add another one. The remaining time before the deed slot is open again will be half of the deeds time so you can slowly build up time on a plot and is displayed at the bottom of the deed. - Items used that's in the action bar will display the right amount now and be removed when you don't have any more in your bag. - You wont be able to equip a weapon anymore if it has no more durability. - Durability will now also be displayed in tooltip in a number format. - Weapon base damage amount will now be displayed in tooltip along with what type of damage it does. New: - Have a craft all button now to craft multiple items at a time instead of clicking craft every time. Balancing: - Changed pricing on Deeds and house blueprints.. Arcfall Patch Pre-Alpha v0.5 : This patch contains many major bug fixes and a few more items added to content. It also had East Oakwood Forest Area added. Bugs Fixed: 1) Smithy Table now brings up Archery Station. 2) When crafting with a full inventory it wont break your character and will let you know your inventory is full. 3) When gathering resources it will tell you your inventory is full. 4) Smelter can now be placed on your plot. 5) When you die you wont spawn on your horse. 6) Permissions are fixed on properties. 7) Ground Crawlers can now be looted when killed. 8) Claims fixed as some where not working. 9) All horses speed and carry capacity increased. 10) New water added for oceans. 11) Tooltip now properly display the quality of a item with color, Poor (Grey),Common(White),Uncommon(Yellow),Rare(Blue),Epic(Purple), Legendary(Orange) New: 1) Axes has gotten new models. 2) Few more quests are added. 3) More NPCs added to make the world more lively. 4) First set of Chainmail Armour added in to the game. 5) Tab Targeting added into the game, using Tab to cycle through mobs within 5 meters and Q to cycle through mobs with in 15 meters. 6) You can now target Group members by clicking on their group portrait. 7) New Forest Giant Basher Added. 8) New water plots added so players can build their house on wooden areas in water. 9) East Oakwood Forest area added. 10) Map had first overhaul.. Pre-Alpha 2.46 : This update has more work being done to the back end of the game so not allot of new content in it but we are slowly making progress with some bugs. **Fixes:** - Fixed Settings to properly work again. - Fixed Loot Drop for Alpha Greyback Wolf. - Fixed Action bar so items do not overlap or cover hot Key UI.
