Number 7 is associated with Divine in many religions

During our 5-day Hajj itinerary, we circle around the holy Black Cube Kaaba seven times. This rite is called Tawaf. We also proceed to move back and forth between two hills Safa and Marwa, which are also 7 times.

Why these movements are specifically seven times? Nobody still knows. But it is very interesting that the number 7 is a prominent number and associated with the divine in many religions including Christianity and Judaism.
